Suffering Imposter Syndrome?

Suffering Imposter Syndrome?

Imposter Syndrome  involves feelings of self-doubt and personal incompetence that persist despite your education, experience, and accomplishments. Imposter Syndrome is also when you feel like you aren't as good as others perceive you to be.

And if this is you, you are not alone.

Research shows that 70% of people have this feeling regularly and this also includes all those people you look up to and admire.  Imposter Syndrome is certainly not only for those just starting out.

But the good news is.... if you are having these feelings, it can actually be a positive.

🖤 it means you are chasing your dreams and stepping outside of your comfort zone. You are doing the things you want to do.

🖤 it helps to keep your ego in check and show that while you are amazing at what you do, there is always space for learning.

One of the best pieces of advice for managing imposter syndrome is to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Building a small business will always have you doing things that are new and feel a little hard. Following your dreams and creating the business you can see in your visions is hard work. But to grow and to reach the goals and dreams you've set yourself, you need to expand and you need to do the uncomfortable things.

And never forget that everyone else around you is feeling exactly the same, no matter how confident they appear to be.
