I’m Lisa, a writer, dreamer, marketer, and the creator of Wilde Road. Think of me like your cheerleader - offering inspiring words and empowering you to find your own voice, stay true to who you are and go for your dreams.

Words have always been my guiding light

I was only a child when I discovered that words have the power to shape our lives. From the moment you start your day, to your last thoughts at night, the words you think, see and say have an incredible impact on your experience of life and your results.

Throughout my life, inspirational words have offered food for my soul and fuel for my dreams, guiding me to believe in myself, treat myself with love, and stay true to who I am, always.  In dark times, empowering words have been my armour, a way to push back against a world that tells us we are not enough, build belief in myself and affirm my trust that everything is exactly as it should be in the moment.

And I know I’m not alone.

In 2020, after a 15 year global career in marketing, I created the Instagram page @shoplocal.nz to support the local businesses of New Zealand, and started my business as a marketing mentor for small business owners. Through my 1:1 sessions I quickly discovered that women didn’t need more social media ‘how tos’; they needed support to overcome self doubt, and foster belief in themselves and in what they have to offer.

Every day, I found myself coaching my clients to stay true to who they are, follow what feels good, reject society’s messages telling them who they should be or what they should do, and trust in what they want to say.

So I began intuitively writing original and empowering messages for business owners, mothers and women and sharing them on Instagram. The response was incredible.

And that’s how Wilde Road by Lisa Buscomb was born: Empowering prints, cards and gifts to help you believe in yourself, overcome your fears and go for your dreams.

Beautiful daily reminders that you are amazing, that you are doing so well, that what you are experiencing is a season not forever, that you can achieve anything you want and you are wildly deserving of your dreams. 

Today you will find me writing empowerment prints, supporting small business owners with Instagram and marketing, inspiring creatives to share on Instagram; and supporting local businesses through the ShopLocal Instagram page.
