21 Day Spring Wellness Reset

21 Day Spring Wellness Reset

I’m here in New Zealand in the Southern Hemisphere, and yesterday marked the 1st of September — the first day of Spring. There’s something so beautiful about a new season, especially Spring: warmer days and nights, flowers blooming, and a lovely sense of excitement and happiness in the air. It’s the perfect time to refresh and rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit.

I don’t know about you, but when Spring arrives, I feel a natural urge to reset — to tidy and declutter, to support my body in feeling its best, to shed the winter layers, and to embrace the vibrant energy of the season. It's a time of new starts, new beginnings, new opportunities.  That’s why I’ve created a beautiful 21-day Spring Wellness Reset. It’s the little things you do each day that can have the biggest impact

Week 1: Cleanse and Renew

  • Day 1: Hydrate with intention. Start your day with a glass of warm lemon water to kickstart your metabolism and detoxify.
  • Day 2: Declutter your space. Choose one small area of your home to clean and organise.  Keep the task small so it feels good and not overwhelming.
  • Day 3: Freshen up your diet a little. Incorporate more greens and seasonal vegetables into your meals.
  • Day 4: Digital detox. Spend the day unplugged, enjoying the outdoors, friends or your favourite hobby.
  • Day 5: Try a new workout. Spring is a time for spending more time outside or trying something new.... think yoga, pilates, or a nature walk.
  • Day 6: Focus on your skin. Treat yourself to a facial or at home exfoliation spa.
  • Day 7: Reflect and reset. Take 10 minutes to journal about your goals for the new season.

Week 2: Energize and Grow

  • Day 8: Embrace the outdoors. Spend time outside soaking up the fresh air and sun rays.
  • Day 9: Introduce a superfood. Take a look at ingredients like chia seeds, turmeric, or spirulina and maybe add something new to your day to day eating.
  • Day 10: Practice mindfulness. Download an app or look online for a daily meditation or breathing exercise routine.
  • Day 11: Spring cleaning. Tackle another decluttering project, maybe this time if could be your wardrobe or kitchen.  Getting your clothes ready for the warmer months or checking in on the foods in your cupboards.
  • Day 12: Get creative. Try a new recipe or a create project.
  • Day 13: Move with joy. Dance, stretch, or play and make yourself smile.
  • Day 14: Connect with loved ones. Host a small gathering or call a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while.

Week 3: Blossom and Thrive

  • Day 15: Start a garden. Plant herbs, flowers, or vegetables to nurture throughout the season.
  • Day 16: Set a new habit. Choose one small, positive habit to incorporate into your daily routine.  Beathing more deeply, affirmations, daily movement or extra nutrition.
  • Day 17: Focus on self-care. Dedicate the day to pampering yourself—take a bath, read a book, or practice a hobby.
  • Day 18: Try something new. Explore a new place, activity, or food you’ve never tried before.
  • Day 19: Embrace gratitude. Write down three things you’re grateful for each day for the next week.  Continue if it feels great.
  • Day 20: Set your intentions. Visualize your goals and dreams for the season ahead.
  • Day 21: Celebrate your progress. Reflect on the past 21 days and reward yourself for completing the reset.

Happy Spring and new starts, new beginnings.
